Description
In Garnish Like a Pro, you’ll understand and apply the 6 rules of mouth watering culinary garnishing. First, we will whip up a scratch-made creamy vegetable based soup, like asparagus, cauliflower, broccoli or carrot. Your choice. Then, learn to prepare an array of potential garnishes for the soup, including toasted nuts and seeds, spice oils, pistou, fresh herbs, and crackers. Assemble your soup using 3 different plating styles and show them off to your classmates. You’ll build an arsenal of tools, such as knife skills, flavor and texture pairings, sauce creation and artistic plating, so that you can professionally garnish everything you serve up, from tacos to eggs to dessert.

- Cream of Asparagus, Cauliflower, Carrot, or Broccoli Soup (plant-based, dairy free, and gluten free & your choice)
- Chili Oil
- Pistou
- Dukkah
- Toasted Nuts & Seeds
- Parmesan Crisps or Tuilles
The recipes for this class are plant-based (except for the Parmesan Crisps) and gluten free.
